Kim Waters
Music is the one thing that everyone can turn to…it brings joy in these trying times,” says chart-topping saxophonist Kim Waters. With more than 40 chart topping hits throughout his career, Waters has been heralded as “Simply one of the planet’s best saxophonists” by JazzTimes Magazine and the “Pied piper of Smooth Jazz” by Upscale Magazine, the prolific chart-topping saxophonist, composer and producer has enjoyed a career longevity that is rare in the music business. For three decades Waters has reigned as one of the premier architects of Urban Smooth Jazz and a beacon of light in Contemporary Jazz.
On Waters’ latest album, his 25th called That Special Touch, he features mostly original songs, but also reimagines two well-known songs, “If I Were Your Man”, originally performed by R&B singer Joe and Adele’s #1 anthem “Easy on Me”. “This Adele song is such a great tune and when I first heard it, I immediately thought to myself that it is the perfect song for a saxophone.

Paul Brown
Double Grammy winner, Paul Brown, both as an artist and producer, is responsible for more than 75 #1 contemporary jazz radio hits! PB has produced and shared the stage with a veritable who’s-who of music royalty such as Luther Vandross, George Benson, Patti Austin, Boney James, Norman Brown, and Peter White, just to name a few. The Los Angeles born and raised guitarist’s R&B driven sound has been a foundational element in smooth and urban jazz since the early 1990s, when he produced saxophonist Boney James’ breakout debut Trust. He has since worked with many of the genre’s most influential artists including Larry Carlton, Dave Koz & Friends, Euge Groove, Rick Braun, Kirk Whalum, Jeff Golub, and Al Jarreau! He also has produced and performed with Sharon Rae North.

Christian de Mesones
Christian de Mesones experienced a significant breakthrough in 2021 with his debut solo album, “They Call Me Big New York,” which featured 25 national recording artists, achieved multiple top-ten singles, and approached 2 million streams on Spotify. His 2020 single “Big Tall Wish” gained traction on Sirius XM and the Groove Jazz/RadioWave chart, while other tracks like “Year of the Dragon” and “Hispanica (Instrumental)” featuring Bob James dominated various jazz charts, including Billboard’s Smooth Jazz Airplay. With over 40 years of bass playing experience and a graduate of the Bass Institute of Technology, de Mesones has been part of various musical groups across the U.S. and is celebrated for his "smooth grooves and funky soul with a Latin flair."
He has opened for several national recording artists and performed at prestigious jazz festivals and venues. In 2022 and 2023, de Mesones made his debut at The Birchmere, showcasing his dynamic new show "You Only Live Twice," the title track of his upcoming sophomore album, which is currently making waves on the charts.

James Lloyd & Alexander Zonjic
For more than 40 years, keyboardist/producer James Lloyd has been a major force on the music scene. A child prodigy, he and fellow musicians Cedric Napoleon and Curtis Harmon were just high school teenagers in 1975 when they founded Pieces of a Dream, which became a huge Billboard charting success in the Smooth Jazz and R&B genres. Though Lloyd is still with Pieces, he also enjoys a successful solo career as an artist and producer. He has released his own music to rave reviews. Throughout his career, James Lloyd has either performed or recorded with, produced or supported a roster of talent too large to number. The list includes artists such as Nestor Torres, Walter Beasley, Nick Colionne, Regina Belle, Nancy Wilson, Dionne Warwick, David Sanborn, Babyface and Alexander Zonjic.
Flutist Alexander Zonjic, though a native of Windsor, Ontario, is known as Mr. Detroit, his “adopted” hometown. He was discovered in the early 1980s by legendary jazz pianist Bob James, while performing in a club in Detroit and was invited to join James’ band. Over the years Zonjic has had Billboard charting songs and has released several albums, including 2020s Playing it Forward. The albums lead single, Motor City Sway, was written and produced by James Lloyd.
James Lloyd and Alexander Zonjic often team up for shows throughout the country. They are releasing an album they recorded together in 2024.
